Full description:

Starting career as a trainee in Al Ahram Weekly (English language paper) was a good starting point as it placed me under the required stress of central desk meticulous supervision in whatever I happened to touch including translated articles of famous columnists. 2 years or more of such work qualified me for being appointed in the most prestigious newspaper in the Middle East where I practised into English translation as well as into Arabic translation for almost 7 years. Being trained to copywrite in Arabic as well as in English from 2000 -2004 qualified my name to appear in various advertising and promotion materials as editorial supervisor, senior translator and sometimes the project manager of many catalogues and directories. My BA in English literature and translation acuired from Cairo qualified me to take part as a consecutive translator in many intelligence (Secret Service HQ) conferences where I worked for a couple of years (1997-1999). I was recently appointed as a deputy manager for the foreign supplements dept in Al Ahram newspaper acting as the main liason with foreign organizations, embassies and in charge of press coverage including advertising press releases) of key fairs (ICT - AVEX - IAA Congess). My Master's degree from the American University in Cairo of which the last stage being pursued while Iam here in Texas, gave me an extensive experience about the type of life in Middle Eastern countries, politics pursued and cultural and social factors governing the Arab milieu. My class A professors trusted me with translation of materials for seminars and conferences during our academic life.
